Juneau & Ketchikan Tours

Whale watching tours are popular in July! We shouldn't delay in booking a tour if you want to see whales in Juneau. There are a number of tours from which to choose. There are whale-only tours and tours that combine whale watching with a visit to Mendenhall Glacier. There are tours from Princess and private tours through local operators. I've outlined all the options in this PDF:
The DeTamples will likely go ahead and book the one I highlighted in the PDF. We are also ready to go ahead and book the 2 hour Misty Fjords Flightseeing tour that's in Ketchikan. The link and information are also provided in the attached file.
UPDATE (Oct 20, 2026): The Alaska Tales: Whale Watching and Mendenhall Glacier Tour has been booked for all 8 of us thorugh Viator.
